This guide will help new users learn how to navigate the SkillsUSA Unofficial Wiki and contribute effectively.
Navigating the Wiki
- Use the **Search bar** at the top of the page to find specific topics or competitions.
- Browse the **Main Page** for links to major sections like competitions, officer positions and study guides.
- Check the **Recent changes** page (from the left menu) to see what pages have been updated recently.
- Avoid clicking red links; these indicate pages that haven't been created yet.
Reading and Contributing
- Each page has a **Read** tab (default) and tabs for **View history** and **Discussion**.
- To suggest improvements, use the **Discussion** tab to leave feedback.
- If you want to create or edit a page, click **Edit** or **Edit source**. Follow the style guidelines: use clear headings, write in third person, and prefer bullet lists over long paragraphs.
- Before publishing, double-check your content for accuracy. All edits are publicly visible and may be reviewed by others.
