Creating a Contest Page: A step by step guide

Start by going to the Contests Page and checking if your contest already has a page. If it does not, follow the step below.

Use must use this exact format for searching for the page: "Contests:Contest Name" for example: if searching for T-Shirt Design this is the exact thing that would be searched (without the quotation marks): "Contest:T-Shirt Design"

2. Click the create button at the bottom

At the bottom of the page there will be a piece of text that says

  • Create the page "Contests:T-Shirt Design" on this wiki!

Click the hyperlink

3. Create the page

Use this exact format when creating the page:

= Competition Name =


== Overview ==

A concise, neutral description of the event. This should explain what the competition is,

what participants do, and the general purpose of the event.


== Skills tested ==

A bulleted list of the primary technical, professional, or leadership skills evaluated

during the competition.

== How to prepare ==

A bulleted list of practical preparation strategies, such as practice methods, study areas,

or recommended experience.


THIS BOTTOM PART IS VERY IMPORTANT:

Failure to use this exact format will result in page editing or deletion!

4. Click save page at the bottom

Note that this will then open the page to the entire wiki for editing!
